Don’t worry about this Bystander 🙂 Only open-minded people want to go there. Others are scared or are too scornful to join this event. Courage, training and team spirit is the key.

Central and Eastern Europe should be very proud to have such people. They honor History and European culture with this sport. Moreover, I think it’s a real plus to globalize this event. It’s really something to “share”.

Well its not that simple. If it was only for practicipants, thet it wouldnt be a problem. Even if new fighters would act in ‘softer’ manner it wont save them from brutal counterattacks, so sooner or later they would be forced to play in our terms.
But there are many factors – like judges, organisator, gocement officals. I dont know. Maybe im exagerating and imagining things as im still under influence of yesterdays championship, but for example some versions of rules for one-on-one fights are already too specific, killing spirit of the fight and welcoming for exploiting of those rules (you know – things like never would work in real fiht are realy useful in those contests).
Maybe officals would be too concerned with foregin guests. Or, well there are so many factors and unknown things making future of eastern-european style of reenactment uncertain. Like this old world financial crysis 🙂

i laught a little about “killing spirit” even if it’s true ; )) You are right. Or we play “the russian way” or organizer may influence the event with more and more rules. I hope it won’t become too “casual”. 🙂
